Dealing With My Depression / How it began - Part 2

Are you open about your depression or do you prefer to just keep it hidden away with every other emotion? I remember being in denial and refused to accept the fact that I was depressed. I've seen therapists since I was 12 years old and not once did I want to accept what they were saying about me. I was under the impression that the only reason why they said I was depressed was a reason for them to either push medication on me or get in my head. I never cared to speak my emotions and harbored every feeling deep inside me. So deep that I felt emotionless, heartless and just downright cold.

Dealing With My Depression - Part 1

Being depressed is not a bad thing! We all have moments where we just shut ourselves down, sulk on everything that's going wrong and usually it lasts a day or maybe even a couple days. This is normal! Then there are the severe forms of depression that unfortunately last longer then a couple days. Depression is something we all experience sometime in our life because it's our way of handling everything at once before we can move on.

Why Hello There!

It's been quite some time since I have posted anything on this blog. Honestly, I'm not sure if that's good or bad... I do miss the amount of time I spent here posting and doing reviews on products. It was quite enjoyable and it was a hobby in a sense. A hobby that I enjoyed doing with the family. The writing, the research, the creative nature of blogging was what I enjoyed the most. I felt like my freelance writing was meant to be. As a child, I used to write stories all the time. It was something I enjoyed and people loved the things I came up with and wanted more. I even had a story published in a book back in elementary. But that was long ago.
