A humidifier is the most important product for your home. There are many benefits. A humidifier helps moisten the nasal passages and soothes dry coughs so a child can breath easier and sleep in piece through the night.

In 2008, the FDA issued an advisory warning saying that Over the Counter (OTC) cold and cough medicine shout NOT be given to children under the age of 6. Cool mist humidifiers do not boil water like the warm mist humidifiers do. A cool mist humidifier:

What is the difference between cool mist and warm mist?

A cool mist is generated by a film of water the is passed over a rapidly vibrating transducer. What the vibration does is it breaks up the water into tiny droplets and emits a whisper quiet mist.

A warm mist is generated by the water boiling in the humidifier. Usually warm mist humidifiers allow vapor liquids to be added to the water. Please note: You can not add any scents, medicines or any oils to the cool mist humidifier. It could cause damage to the cool mist humidifier.

White dust particles are minerals that are broken into tiny pieces by the ultrasonic process.
