My Review:
I am addicted to dying my hair crazy colors. Ever since my review on Splat, my hair hasn't been normal since. Beauty Stop Online sent me a few products to review and here is what I received:

I received Manic Panic: Cotton Candy Pink, Manic Panic: Bad Boy Blue and Manic Panic: Flash Lightning Bleach Kit Vol. 30. 

Above shows a picture of what the colors look like and what comes with the bleach kit. All of Manic Panic's hair color products are Vegan, PPD free, a semi-permanent hair color and are not tested on animals. The bleach kit comes with everything you will need to get things going. With the kit you receive a shower cap, latex gloves, creme developer, dust-free bleach powder, instructions, tint brush and a mixing tub.

Now, before I begin with the details on how everything was done and what I think, I just want to mention before hand that if you do plan on dying you hair with vibrant and crazy colors, go with Manic Panic! I used Splat in the past (you can find the review here) and honestly, I prefer Manic Panic over any other brand. I'll explain more on why in this review. So lets begin!

Here is what my hair looked like before. As you can see the roots have grown and it looks tacky. I also have oily hair so when my natural hair comes in, the oils become really active making my hair greasy. In the picture above, I had washed my hair the night before and it looks like I went a couple days without washing.

The first thing to do before coloring your hair is to bleach your hair. This is optional, but if you want those colors to stand out, bleaching your hair would be best. When bleaching, if you have previously bleached your hair, it's best to bleach the new growth rather then what's already been bleached. If you bleach over the bleached area, this will damage your hair. I've learned the hard way and now my hair is damaged....

I let the bleach sit in for about 50 minutes. The darker your hair, the longer the bleach will have to sit in your hair. Once your hair is ready, wash it out with warm water and don't forget to shampoo. You want to make sure you get all of the bleach out of your hair. One thing I wanted to point out is that Manic Panics bleach kit works better than Splat. Splat doesn't lighten the hair as much as Manic Panic. One thing that did frighten me though when it came to Splat's bleach was the fact that if you let the bleach sit for a few minutes in the bottle,  pressure begins to build up and it could explode... They do warn you about this as well!

Once my hair was fully dry after bleaching it, I added the color. I split my hair in half and did one side Cotton Candy Pink and the other Bad Boy Blue. Originally I was going to have pink on the top and blue at the bottom, but I figured I would go with something different. The color sat in my hair for about half an hour.

After the color sat, I did a cold rinse till the water came clear and I was done. I've heard some people shampoo their hair after they have colored it, but it's best not to so. If you do, the color will fade and it will not last long. When it comes to regular hair dye, I do the same thing; rinse till the water comes clear and add the conditioner that comes with the kit. 

The colors came out real nice! Honestly, it came out better than I thought it would, lol. I've had many people already compliment on my hair and a lot of them thought I got it done professionally, lol. Since I had my hair done, I have washed my hair twice in the past week and the color is still the same. It did fade a bit, but not to the point where it's noticeable and since there is some extra hair color left over in the containers, I can always touch it up. The reason why I don't wash my hair as much when I have the color in is because the less you wash, the longer the color will last. I've also noticed that the color does NOT bleed like Splat. I remember when I had Splat in my hair, it would bleed and stain my shirts, my pillow case and the color would even run down my face when I was sweating. That was a pain in the behind! I have not had any of those problems with Manic Panic and honestly, I would choose Manic Panic over Splat any day!
