Mohawk Industries is one the worlds most largest floor covering manufacturers and distributors and they are the leading producer of yarn, ceramic tile, area rugs and bath mats. Mohawk headquarters is located in Calhoun, Georgia. They manufacturer and market woven tufted broadloom carpet, area accent rugs, and mats and a variety of hard surface flooring products.
Mohawk flooring has 125 years of history for excellence and is a lasting part of the American floor covering industry. Since their inception in 1878, Mohawks products have made them the most recognized carpet brand in history. The key to their success is the 25,000 employees that work diligently to produce, distribute, market, sell and support an expansive line of products. The men and women of Mohawk use state-of-the-art equipment to produce yarn that is used to tuft and weave the carpet and rugs and to create ceramic tile. They apply a cutting-cutting edge logic to transport yarn and finished goods from across the country. They have developed award winning designs, customer-friendly marketing strategies and they also have committed customer support.
Mohawk sells floor covering and textiles for every room in your home and also for every commercial application. They have hardwood flooring, ceramic tile flooring, stone and marble flooring and they also have an exclusive distribution agreement with Congoleum. Vinyl sheet flooring is among one of the newest Mohawk products offered. What's also great is that Mohawk now offers woven bedspreads, tapestries, sheet flooring, pillows, throws and window blinds.
You can find Mohawk products in major retailers across the country and the world. There products can be found in Target, Home Depot, Bloomingdales, Macy's, Wal-mart and many other locations.
My review:
I was given a great opportunity to review Mohawk's Area Rug. I have been looking for a stylish, affordable and unique rug for my living room. My husband and I have been looking all over the place and then I came across Mohawk. I love that they are very affordable and they have some smashing styles as well =)
Here is a picture of my living room BEFORE the area rug:
My living rooms bland... As you can see there is not much in there. And then having a hardwood floor makes the room even look more bleh, lol. Here is the rug I received from Mohawk:
This is the Mohawk Home Magician Multi 5 ft x 8 ft Area Rug
I love the design in the rug. It's abstract, full of oomph, and very colorful. I figured I would go with a style that was different than the usual plain, square or circle rugs you would normally see in the stores. I love the look of this rug and I love the feel. The rug is very comfortable. Here is AFTER picture with the rug:
It looks amazing =) I love the comfort it brings into the living room. It looks roomy, cozy and the rug adds a lot of color. It also fits with the furniture as well, well... accept for the flower couch by the window, lol. That is going to be trash soon well get something that is going to work around the furniture in the living room, lol.
